If there is one experience that should be added to your family’s bucket list, it is a booking at one of Udolpho’s two beautiful ox wagon camps!

This unique accommodation option is an ever-popular choice among individuals, families and larger groups who would like to come and experience a part of the Voortrekkers way of life for themselves!

Our main ox wagon camp, or Liebenberg Laager, has 11 restored ox wagons that have been drawn into a laager and can accommodate up to 80 guests. The riverside ox wagon camp can accommodate up to 26 guests.

The carriages are equipped with bunk beds, and some with double beds, and can each accommodate between 6 and 8 guests.

The strong, durable tarps offer sufficient resistance to every conceivable weather element.

Come and enjoy a braai around the fire pit with family and friends under the starry Free State sky at Liebenberg Laager or start your day with a cup of coffee on the banks of the Vaal River at our riverside ox wagon camp!
